2008年4月8日消息,NI宣布推出NI USB-6509,一款供以动力的总线便携式USB数字化I/O设备,用于大范围的数据收集。由于具备96双向数字化I/O通道和即插即用USB接口,该设备是工业控制和自动化测试应用的理想选择,此设备所拥有的多项功能已足够用于多目标数据采集和学术应用。

The industrial feature set includes programmable power-up states, digital I/O watchdog timers, change detection and programmable input filters. With programmable power-up states, engineers can pre-define the state in which the USB-6509 device powers up, ensuring consistent, reliable operation when connected to industrial actuators such as pumps, valves, motors or relays. Digital I/O watchdog timers can detect a variety of fault conditions, such as a computer crash, and automatically respond by setting the outputs to a user-defined safe state. With change detection, the device automatically triggers an application to perform a read operation after a digital line changes state.
